To report a new incident, please use Ask a Librarian. Live help is available at any time.
The more details you give, the more likely we will be able to help you.
We may also need to rule out the possibility that the problem resides with your system. Replicating any issues on our end is often essential for diagnosing the culprit and fixing the error.
A basic error report should include the following information:
- Who is reporting the problem (and other relevant details, such as affiliation and location)
- The exact steps taken to produce the problem (i.e., a specific database and citation, or stable URL)
- The expected behavior (desired result)
- The actual behavior (buggy result and any error messages)
